Supporting Escuela Caracol  If you feel a connection to our vision and are interested in contributing your resources to Escuela Caracol, whether on a regular basis or as a one-time gift, we offer a number of ways for you to do so. 1. SPONSORSHIP OF A CHILD: This is one of the best ways to support our work. We are currently seeking sponsorships for both the 2008 and 2009 school years, preferably with multi-year commitments. • $85/month for a child in KinderCaracol • $170/month for a child in the grades Sponsors receive updates on their particular student three times a year. If you make a monthly donation (below) at these levels you will receive a follow-up email with more details. 
 2. GENERAL DONATION: If you want to contribute to a child’s education but cannot commit to a sponsorship at this time, you can make a general donation of any size or shape (one-time, quarterly, monthly, etc.) and it will help support our operating costs. We also accept non-monetary donations such as school supplies and equipment. See our Wish List for a better idea about our needs. 3. DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT: We are also looking for large contributions to support our on-going development, including the construction and furnishing of our classroom for the first and second grades. Our estimated budget for this phase of development is $15,000. How to Donate TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS (United States only) We have set up a nonprofit program in the US in order to provide tax benefits to charitable gifts.
